Welcome to Garrun Group

New addition to our compliance office. Benita da Silva is a University of Witwatersrand Graduate, completing her first degree, a Bachelor of Arts (BA) with majors in English and Law in 2008 and her second degree a Bachelor in Law (LLB) in 2010.

  Benita da Silva is a University of Witwatersrand Graduate, completing her first degree, a Bachelor of Arts (BA) with majors in English and Law in 2008 and her second degree a Bachelor in Law (LLB) in 2010.

During her time at Wits, she also took part in Street Law, which involved teaching at prisons and schools. Rounding off her academic career Benita came top three in the Wits Moot Court Competition.

Benita has a keen interest in Insurance Law, having achieved a distinction in the subject, as well as Contract, Labor and Human Rights Law. She began her articles at a prestigious Johannesburg law firm during early 2011 having gained insight and experience with the law firm Benita elected to rather take up the challenge as a Compliance and Legal Officer with The Garrun Group.
